The Legacy Lodge is happy to provide a 24/7 business center with Wi-Fi, charging stations, and a complimentary printer for guests of Legacy Lodge, Legacy Villas, and the LakeHouses at Legacy. Located on the Lobby Level of Legacy Lodge.

Fitness Center

You don’t have to break from your workout routine while you’re staying at Lanier Islands. The Legacy Lodge Fitness Center has everything you need to stay on track with treadmills, stationary bikes, and free weights. Guests of the Legacy Lodge, Legacy Villas, and the LakeHouses at Legacy have exclusive 24/7 access. Located on the first floor of Legacy Lodge.

Firepits

Nothing warms the soul like a crackling fire pit and a gorgeous view of the stars. Cozy up next to the Legacy Lodge fire pit overlooking Lake Lanier and Legacy Pool. Bullfrogs has Smores kits available year-round if you are in the mood for a warm, sweet treat. If the pits are not lit, simply visit the front desk and they will assist.

Heated Pool

The expansive saltwater pool is a refreshing luxury after a long day exploring Lake Lanier, golfing, or playing at the water park. Grab a hand-crafted cocktail from Bullfrog’s convenient poolside service window, then stretch out on a lounge chair or relax in the calming waters. The saltwater lounging pool is an exclusive amenity for guests of the Legacy Lodge, Legacy Villas, and the LakeHouses at Legacy.

Pool Hours: Open 24 hrs, 7 days a week and year-round.

Towels are provided for pool use only. Pool towels must remain in pool area and are not for use at the beach or water park.

Parking

There is a $20 daily parking fee for all vehicles entering the resort, unless you are:

• A Club Lanier Islands Member
• Staying overnight—one car parking fee is included with your reservation.
• Attending a wedding, conference, group meeting, or another resort event such as Easter, Mother’s Day, or Thanksgiving Brunch—the parking fee is included.
• Dining at Sidney’s Restaurant—the parking fee is waived with a confirmed reservation.
• Playing golf—your parking fee is included with your confirmed tee time.
• A Margaritaville at Lanier Islands Season Pass Holder.

History

The year 1962 marked a pivotal moment when the splendor and promise of four partially flooded mountaintops on Lake Lanier were recognized. Thus, the Lake Lanier Islands Development Authority (LLIDA) came into existence, spearheading the transformation of Lanier Islands into the extraordinary recreational haven it is today. By 1969, the iconic bridge to Lake Lanier Islands Resort was completed, while the '70s witnessed significant infrastructure development, shaping the resort into the remarkable destination it has become.
